Days out from a Dubrovnik base

From any of these villas, the easiest days out are on the water or down the coast. A private boat can run to the Elafiti islands, with Šipan and Lopud the main stops and time to swim or have lunch on the water. Lokrum is a simple half-day by 15-minute ferry, for the island’s botanical garden, monastery ruins, and saltwater lake. Cross-border days reach Kotor in Montenegro in under 3.5 hours, or Mostar in about 2.5 hours by private car. A slower day combines the Pelješac wine road, fresh oysters, and Korčula Old Town before the drive back to Dubrovnik.
