Insider Villas is a story made by two global travelers who live and love where they are. We are a Belgo-Swedish duo of hoteliers with experience operating and opening luxury hotels, including such brands as the Ritz-Carlton, Raffles Seychelles, The Norman Tel Aviv, and more. A love of travel and culture, combined with a passion for great food, wine, and people, has inspired us to share our insider knowledge with you.

Meet Anna

Anna Bauge, a true global citizen from Sweden, began her journey of exploration at just 16, driven by a passion for travel and discovery. She graduated from Les Roches in Switzerland in 1994 with a degree in Hotel Management and continued her education at Endicott College, completing her studies in 1996. Her dedication, curiosity, and work ethic have led her to gain invaluable experience at some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, shaping her expertise in the luxury hospitality industry.

Meet Olivier

Olivier Heuchenne, a Belgian native born in Morocco, discovered his passion for travel early on. With a Hotel and Restaurant Management degree from the University of Denver (1991), Olivier embarked on a globetrotting journey, gaining expertise in luxury hospitality. Now based in Mallorca, he combines his global experience with local insights to create exceptional travel experiences.

The Duo

1996 brought Anna and Olivier together. In the warm California sun, they fell in love. They got married in Barcelona wine country.
They searched the world for a place to settle and call home and traveled to Egypt, Singapore, Seychelles, and Tel Aviv. Finally, Spain became their permanent residence when they fell in love with Mallorca.
