An estuary opening onto life, the Cantabrian Sea, always rough, always honest; the smell of saltpetre, fishing boats coming into port, the low-flying birds on the little island of Turuyón.

And there, right at the mouth of the estuary, next to the harbour, a tower erected by masons takes us back to the splendour of another time, to the memory of the Pardo de Donlebún family, to the raids of the invincible Armada, to journeys, battles, to nearly five centuries of history that observe us, that welcome us. A palace that was a home, a refuge for sailors and warriors, which today receives us to turn us into the lead characters of our own stories. A place to experience those moments that we will always hold close to our hearts, to create new remembrances that will be part of our life’s memories and those of others. The palace is divided into 11 spacious ensuite bedrooms all transformed into supremely comfortable double rooms, laid out over three floors. Each room has its own unique character and personality. Don Pelayo, the expansive master suite includes over 100m2 of indoor space whilst the Reina Gaudiosa suite radiates chic elegance.

With ample space for groups of friends or families, this is the ideal property to spend time with your loved ones and create memorable moments. Each common area is designed to be both grand yet informal; spend time in the elegant main lounge, relax in the comfy bar, or find a cosy corner in the chic

The exquisite Palacio de Figueras is an exceptional setting for any type of event or celebration. An assortment of spacious lounges offer different options to host presentations, talks and meetings, depending on your business needs. For larger celebrations of up to 200 seated guests we have a specially designed and integrated marquee space.
