Built in the XVII century, Quinta da Boavista seamlessly blends historical charm with modern comforts following recent renovations. The interiors reflect the rich history of the estate, creating a harmonious fusion of past eras and contemporary luxury. The spacious property is well-suited for family or corporate group stays, providing ample space for communal gatherings and secluded corners for moments of solitude.

Outdoors, the villa boasts attractive living and dining areas, ideal for enjoying long summer days and nights. Indoors, two distinct sitting rooms cater to different preferences, with the main one featuring panoramic windows and the smaller one offering a cozy ambiance with a card games table and a fireplace for cooler temperatures. All six bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms, with four providing picturesque river views and one showcasing mountain scenery. Additionally, four bedrooms have direct access to the exterior.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens and terraces, the main Quinta building houses a stunning swimming pool suspended over vineyards and the river. The historic “lagares,” once used for grape treading, now serve as a gym, complemented by a padel court, a snooker table, and table tennis for guests’ enjoyment. The wine cellar, with its traditional earthen floors, provides a unique setting for celebratory dinners or corporate gatherings.

Your stay includes breakfast, and additional meals can be arranged by a local cook. Quinta da Boavista produces its own table wines, inviting guests to savor the local flavors. Various services, such as pre-arrival groceries, wine shopping and delivery, laundry, airport transfers, and spa treatments, are available upon request.

Situated in one of the world’s oldest demarcated wine regions and designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2001, the Douro Valley exudes tranquility throughout most of the year, except for the lively harvest weeks in autumn. TAKE NOTE THAT: This property is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues or young children due to steep steps, uneven terrace floors, and unprotected drops from the garden onto terraced vineyards. As a working estate with machinery and farming products, children must be supervised. Children under the age of 7 are only accepted with a signed disclaimer.
