Our Hvar villas

Four villas across two Hvar settings

Luxury villas in Hvar here means a tight collection of four villas in two settings: three at Maslina Resort in UNESCO-protected Stari Grad, Bay Villa, Cliff Villa, and Villa Pinewood, plus Villa Seaside in Jagoda Bay, 10 minutes from Hvar Town.

EXPLORE OUR VILLAS
Hvar is Croatia's most active island week, with winery stops in Jelsa and Svirče, the hike up Hvar Fortress, and boat days to the Pakleni Islands, Brač, Vis, and Čiovo.

None of these holiday homes sits inside Hvar Town itself; the four split between Stari Grad and Jagoda Bay.

Who it suits

Who This Hvar Villa Collection Is For

This Hvar collection is built for a few very specific trip shapes, not every kind of island stay. The split is clear: Maslina Resort in Stari Grad works best for smaller groups and shorter stays, while Villa Seaside in Jagoda Bay is the large-group option near Hvar Town.

  • Friend groups planning a July to August boat week: groups of 8 to 12 using Hvar as a base for the Pakleni Islands, Brač, Vis, and Čiovo. Best fit: Cliff Villa (1-night minimum) or Bay Villa (3 nights) at Maslina Resort, Stari Grad.
  • Couples on milestone trips: a shorter Hvar stay with access to Stari Grad and a simpler booking window. Best fit: Cliff Villa, Maslina Resort, 1-night minimum.
  • Families on sailing-oriented stays: a quieter base in the Maslina pine forest, with boat or helicopter arrival into Stari Grad. Best fit: Villa Pinewood, 3-night minimum.
  • Large groups and multi-family buy-outs: family reunions or events needing scale, with a private pebble beach in Jagoda Bay near Hvar Town. Best fit: Villa Seaside buy-out, sleeps 30 to 34 across up to 17 bedrooms, 7-night minimum.

Why Guests Book Luxury Villas in Hvar With Insider Villas

On the ground here
Direct bookings here are tied to clear on-the-ground details, not generic villa copy. The Hvar collection is built around four named villas, real transfer logistics, and a week pattern that already includes Stari Grad, Hvar Town, and boat days.
Every booking here is handled in person by Anna and Olivier's team, whose hotel backgrounds include Ritz-Carlton, Raffles Seychelles, and The Norman Tel Aviv. The same people plan transfers, boat days, and the wine-and-fortress week before you arrive.
Inside every villa

What every Hvar villa shares

The four houses share a base: a sea-facing setting on Hvar, water on the doorstep, and a private chef available on every stay. The three Maslina Resort villas in Stari Grad, Bay Villa, Cliff Villa, and Villa Pinewood, sit about 20 m from the Adriatic in two hectares of pine forest, with private heated pools, breakfast, daily housekeeping, and concierge included. Villa Seaside in Jagoda Bay is the exception: a buy-out near Hvar Town with a private pebble beach and a professional kitchen. All four are holiday homes on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.

Luxury Villas at Maslina Resort, Stari Grad

Maslina Resort is on two hectares of pine forest on the Stari Grad coast, with the sea about 20 m from the villas. All three include breakfast and daily housekeeping; see the full Stari Grad villa collection for this side of Hvar.

  • Bay Villa: a 500 m² villa at Maslina Bay, 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 plus 2 extra beds, with a 55 m² heated infinity pool. Its main extra is a private gym, spa, and Finnish sauna. €24,500 to €54,100 per week, 3-night minimum; one bedroom is on the ground floor in front of the pool.
  • Cliff Villa: 300 m² with 4 king bedrooms, sleeping 8 plus 1, a 31 m² heated pool and a terrace over Maslinica Bay. €17,500 to €40,000 per week with a 1-night minimum, the most flexible option here for a shorter stay.
  • Villa Pinewood: a 300 m² seaview villa in the Maslina pine forest, 4 king bedrooms sleeping 8 plus 1, a 25 m² heated pool. Its signature detail is arrival by boat or helicopter, the helipad 1.5 km away. €17,500 to €40,600 per week, 3-night minimum.

Villa Seaside: a Buy-out Villa Near Hvar Town

Villa Seaside is in Jagoda Bay, 10 minutes from Hvar Town, with a private pebble beach directly outside. It is near Hvar Town, not inside it, which matters if you want the harbour and restaurants without staying in town. The property works two ways: a 7-bedroom villa sleeping about 30, or a full 17-bedroom buy-out sleeping about 34, each bedroom ensuite with a 2×2 m bed, 100% linen, and a minibar. It has a rooftop jacuzzi, a yoga patio, a professional kitchen with a private chef and cooking classes on request, a wellness and massage area, two sea-view terraces, and a bar over the bay. Price is on request, minimum stay 7 nights.

When to Visit Hvar: Seasons, Lavender, and the Boat Week

Late spring and early autumn are the easiest windows for Hvar, a warmer sea, quieter streets in Stari Grad, and fewer bottlenecks around restaurant tables and boat-charter planning. Those shoulder dates make the most sense for couples booking Cliff Villa and for families using Villa Pinewood or Bay Villa as a slower base near Maslina Resort. July and August are peak season, the natural fit for friend groups planning the island’s boat-week pattern around the Pakleni Islands, Brač, or Čiovo, the busiest and most expensive part of the calendar. June is the month for the lavender fields across the island interior around Jelsa and Svirče.

How a Hvar Villa Week Actually Runs: Wineries, Fortress, and Boat Days

From Stari Grad or Jagoda Bay the week is simple and repeatable. A typical morning is a winery tour inland, Tomić in Jelsa or Duboković in Svirče, tasting the island’s own Plavac Mali and Pošip, then lunch at Divino in Stari Grad port. Late afternoon is the Hvar Fortress hike above Hvar Town, the harbour and Adriatic opening up below, then dinner in Hvar Town, 10 minutes from Villa Seaside. The other fixed part of the week is a full boat day, usually to the Pakleni Islands off Hvar Town or to Laganini Beach Club on Čiovo, with a Brač day trip or the longer run to Vis when the group wants the day built around the boat.

Most weeks here run the same shape, a wine morning, a fortress evening, and a full boat day, with the team booking the charters and tables before you land.

These four villas cover two different Hvar bases: Maslina Resort in Stari Grad for Bay Villa, Cliff Villa, and Villa Pinewood, and Jagoda Bay near Hvar Town for Villa Seaside. Direct bookings also make it easier to plan the week around named stops like Tomić Winery in Jelsa, Divino in Stari Grad port, and boat days to the Pakleni Islands.
