A large farmhouse turned into a stylish holiday villa, fully catered and serviced daily. The villa is split into three levels, so there’s plenty of space at your disposal.
- The ground floor exudes a Menorcan atmosphere with vaulted ceilings and white-washed walls. It is pure and light but also an essentially noble space.
- The first floor has a strong personality with a rich palette of colors, especially around the shared spaces. Walking around this floor unravels the history of the Finca in all its splendor.
- The second floor is discrete and minimalistic, an ideal retreat from the rest of the house. Each room is a unique creation adorned with richly colored authentic tiles and enjoys a stunning panoramic view of the Menorcan countryside. Moreover, the gorgeous Mediterranean sunrise or sunset is visible from every window.
SLEEP
Rest in your king-size double-bed after a long day of roaming the island. Finca Benedicta is a mammoth villa covering 1,000m2 over 11 bedrooms. These rooms vary from 17,2 to 30 m2, have ensuite bathrooms, and accommodate 22 people.
COMFORTS
Finca Benedicta waits for you with all the necessary amenities. You will adore the cool linen sheets as well as the fluffy towels for bathrooms and the pool area. More importantly, Finca Benedicta is an inclusive, safe place for everyone. Thus, one of the bedrooms, the ground floor, and the outside space, including the swimming pool, have been built with full accessibility to guests with reduced mobility.
FACILITIES
A magical garden to enliven the spirit and body awaits! A Jardin a la Française stretches out in front of the property, with its garden pavilion and an appealing fountain. Next to the 25 meters long swimming pool (heated from April until the end of October) sits an outside kitchen area, ideal for barbecues and local specialties. The fully equipped gym and yoga studio share a deck with views of the olive groves. There’s a laundry room just off the kitchen.
ABOUT ALAIOR, MENORCA, SPAIN
Finca Benedicta is surrounded by 150-acre grounds in the south of Menorca, between the white towns of Alaior and Es Migjorn, close to a curlicue of Caribbean-worthy beaches. You’ll need to rent a car to explore the island, but the beauty of Menorca is that nothing is more than an hour away and many of the best spots are within 30 minutes of the villa.
When you’re not sinking cocktails at the villa’s in-house bar, Cova d’en Xoroi is a stylish alternative on the south coast, with tables and terraces staggered into the cliffside and DJs who turn the caves into a club after dark. We highly recommend Binifadet vineyard and restaurant (www.binifadet.com) for a wine tour followed by either lunch or dinner. The food is exceptional. Santo Tomas beach, which is equally sandy and rocky, is six miles from the villa. Menorca airport is 20 minutes by car. The island’s capital Mahón and the scenic port city of Ciutadella are 20 and 25 minutes away, respectively, by car.
