Located on the outskirts of the charming village of Alaior, in the interior of Menorca, this 19th-century manor house has been carefully restored to offer a residence full of character and elegance. Discovered by its current owners in 2012 in a state of near total disrepair, the property underwent a meticulous three-year restoration that brought both the house and its gardens back to life.

Listed as a Grade I historic monument, the house stands on the site of an old stone quarry, giving it a truly unique architectural character. Its protected status required all original exterior and interior details to be preserved. The redesign successfully integrates traditional materials and historical elements, reinterpreting them as a sophisticated and contemporary residence.

The main living room retains the classic structural features of wooden beams and stone walls, complemented by elegant arches and a bright, spacious layout. Large glass doors open onto the gardens, creating a seamless connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. The fully equipped kitchen combines modern convenience with a rustic country style and connects to the dining area, which can comfortably host up to ten guests.

The house offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. Outside, Mediterranean gardens surround the property, creating a peaceful and private setting. The unique swimming pool has been created from an old stone water reservoir and is surrounded by charming shaded areas beneath pergolas, perfect for relaxing during warm summer days.

Located just a seven-minute walk from the centre of Alaior and only fifteen minutes by car from some of Menorca’s most beautiful beaches, this property offers a rare blend of history, nature and contemporary comfort.

Just a five-minute walk to the small interior town of Alaior, which has been happily unspoiled by tourism so far, its central location within the island puts both the northern and southern beaches within close proximity including the idyllic Binigaus and Son Bou each under fifteen minutes by car.
