ABOUT THE AREA

Pollensa is one of the most beautiful towns on the island, surrounded by stunning countryside, yet close to the sea. A town rich in history, there are many architectural highlights such as the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo. There are also wonderful ancient monasteries dotted around the surrounding countryside.

The towns large square, Plaza Mayor, is lined with cafes, restaurants, and bars with an abundance of terraces that provide the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco drink or bite to eat whilst watching the world go by. On Sundays, the square plays host to a wonderful open market.

Pollensa’s port, Port de Pollensa lies a few kilometres to the north. It has glorious beaches and a further selection of restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
