Imagine getting warming up in front of the open fireplace in the winter salon after you’ve roamed the hills in colder weather.
As you’re getting warmer, you can admire the vast views of the vineyard and mountains.
Each of the bedrooms has its unique vantage points, with two of them overlooking as far as the eye can see to Cap de Formentor whilst the others have stunning views of the land surrounding this home.
Those views bring you a whole new perspective on life.
Plus, the activities you can try here are endlessly diverse.
Beautiful gardens allow for open and secret spots to read a book, enjoy nature, have some privacy, meditate or even hold group yoga classes. A covered dining area is located just above the olive grove with a BBQ set up.Â
ABOUT ESCORCA, POLLENSA, MALLORCA, SPAIN
The north west of Mallorca is defined by the majestic Serra de Tramuntana mountain range creating dramatic scenery, a sense of seclusion and some of Europe’s best hiking trails. Nestling within the peaks and valleys are some of the island’s most picturesque towns and villages, each with their own nuances and unique features.
Escorca is a Spanish municipality on the northern coast of Mallorca and is formed by the towns of Escorca, Lluc, Cala Tuent and Sa Calobra. Sa Calobra is the union of two beaches, sa Calobra beach and the Torrent de Pareis, and is a very popular area with tourists. The beautiful cove of Cala Tuent is sheltered by the islands highest peak – Puig Major, and the waters are ideal for snorkelling. The Lluc Monastery is a very important sacred and pilgrimage site in Mallorca and well worth a visit. Antonio GaudÃ, the famous architect, guided the embellishment of this temple. The monastery is accessed from Plaça dels Peregrins, a square with beautiful gardens and an ancient stone cross dated 1400 AD. Before you leave make sure to sample the delicious Mallorcan fare from one of the two restaurants.
Gorg Blau and Cúber reservoirs are also located in Escorca and were built here because the rains in this area are the most abundant on the whole island. Both meet Palma de Mallorca and the surrounding areas water needs.
Escorca is the perfect base if you’re a hiking or mountaineering enthusiast. There are many routes that start from this municipality and all of them offer truly spectacular landscapes. Lluc is the starting point for many trails crossing Sierra de Tramuntana.
