Marbella

One of the most well-known beach resorts in Spain, and particularly popular with British, Swedish, and the Middle Eastern visitors especially in the summer. Marbella is a vibrant coastal town with a large number of sandy beaches, a charming Old Town and some exciting nightlife. Golf is the most popular activity on land after boating and nightlife. Sun is in abundance and works well in the winter as those sunny days refill one with Vitamin-D. Parts of Marbella are as local and authentic as most of Spain yet other parts resemble St Tropez or Ibiza. The long stretches of beaches allow for those lazy walks early morning or late evenings and the afternoons are best spent in Spas or immersed in the chilly pools.

A short 45min drive from Malaga’s international airport it is well situated between cultural Malaga and sporty Sotogrande where golf and boating are neck and neck for entertainment. A further shorter drive down past Sotogrande is Tarifa where the white sand and windy dunes are a surfers and kite surfers paradise.
