FAQs

What is ski-in ski-out?

Ski-in ski-out accommodations are chalets and hotels allowing guests to ski from the doorstep or a nearby lift, eliminating the need to walk to the slopes.

However, some chalets offer private chauffeur services as an alternative to traditional ski-in ski-out experiences, which can be just as convenient.

Is ski-in ski-out good for beginners?

Absolutely. Ski-in ski-out accommodation is better logistically for beginners but also ideal for advanced skiers.

Instead of worrying about transportation, guests can enjoy direct access to the lifts and slopes, with many chalets offering these facilities and providing nearby ski schools.

What is the most expensive place to ski in Europe?

Zermatt in Switzerland and Courchevel in France are the two most expensive places to ski in Europe. Both offer five-star accommodation and luxurious après-ski scenes, attracting the global elite each year.

However, if you want to access Zermatt’s luxury while still enjoying authentic Alpine charm, staying in Cervinia gives you the best of both worlds.

Olivier was absolutely fantastic — he consistently went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was exceptional. The only minor disappointment was that, upon arrival, the villa didn’t feel fully prepared for check-in, which we later learned was due to the condition it had been left in by the previous guest. That said, we completely understand these things can happen, and Olivier handled the situation swiftly and professionally, rectifying everything within 24 hours.
