All things considered, if you’re searching for an authentic Greek island getaway, away from the busy tourist hotspots, Antiparos is an ideal choice. The question now is, how will you get Antiparos for your vacation?

How to Get to Antiparos, Greece for Your Vacation

Antiparos is quite a small island – and thus, it doesn’t have an airport for commercial travel. Instead, you’ll fly into Paros – the larger and more popular destination nearby.

This island supports flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH) – which will likely be your best bet. There are other airports that fly direct into Paros on a more seasonal basis, such as London, Munich, and Venice.

Once you touch down in Paros, you’ll catch a connecting ferry over to Antiparos. This is the only way to reach this more laidback, mellow island in the Cyclades. And, while we still consider Antiparos to be easily accessible, many travelers would prefer to just fly into Paros and stay there. As such, you’ll find yourself having more space to yourself in Antiparos.

It’s worth noting that if you want to save some money, you can opt for a longer journey via ferry. You can depart from Piraeus or Rafina, a smaller port, which is closer to the Athens International Airport.

Once there, you can choose to be shuttled around throughout your trip or rent a car. Many beaches, restaurants, and other activities you’ll partake in along your vacation are only accessible via vehicle.

Regardless of how you get to the island – and how you plan on getting around – there is a more important consideration to make. Where are you going to stay?
